Delores B. York, 83, passed away on the morning of December 26th at the Coves Edge Nursing Home in Damariscotta. Born in Seboeis, ME on February 21st 1927, she was the daughter of Rufus and Dora (Hodgkins) Bunker. Delores grew up, and attended schools in northern Maine before moving to Nobleboro and marrying Joseph York. Together they raised their family, and she would work for many years as a cook at the Nobleboro Central School. She was a great cook, and family and friends alike loved her food. She was an avid knitter and many family members still have blankets that were knit by her.
