Debra Kay (Manning) Dominguez

Age 49, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2008 at the home of her brother, Richard (Charlene) Hans, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born August 25, 1959 in Ionia, MI, the daughter of Richard and Ilene (Ward) Manning. Debra had a loving heart, child-like innocence, and a “free spirit” that took her to many destinations. As a child she attended schools in Ionia and Grand Rapids and was very proud of her later accomplishments allowing her to receive her GED in 2006 at the age of 47. She enjoyed American Indian collectibles, music, playing card, board, and dice games, her “red” truck, and many animals, most especially her dogs, Bonnie and Pepper. While going through her chemotherapy treatments she crocheted many afghans and scarves for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Manning, step-father, Frank Fockler, and brother-in-law, Gary Austin. She is survived by her son, Richard Luis Perez Dominguez of Ionia; mother, Ilene Fockler of Portland; siblings, Yvonne Austin and Richard (Charlene) Hans of Portland, Kathryn Hans of Indianapolis, IN, Michael and Troy Manning of San Antonio, TX, Renee (Phil) Sinclair, Allan (Patty) Fockler, and Lisa Fockler of Ionia; and many nieces and nephews.
