Deborah A. Borgen, 54, of Baudette, MN passed away on March 3, 2007 in Grand Forks, ND at the Altru Health System Hospital.
Deborah Ann Shaw was born in Wadena, MN on July 30, 1952, to Howard and Valera (Halena) Shaw. Her childhood was spent on the farm in Vining, MN. She graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1970. She then attended Fergus Community College where she met her first husband, Randal R. Willis. They were married in the fall of 1972. They had three boys together and made their home in Morris, MN. Deb kept busy running a daycare, working at “The Villa” nursing home, and raising their three boys. Deb and Randy purchased Ships Wheel Resort and eventually moved to Baudette, MN. They parted ways in 1983.
Deb moved to International Falls with the boys and became a waitress. She then met the love of her life, Ronald Leroy Borgen. She swept him off his feet and returned with Ron to his home in Baudette. They were married at the Wabanica Church on October 27, 1984.
