David W. Adair, 68, of Warrenton, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, February 28, 2023, due to complications of throat cancer.
David was a retired member of the Laborers’ Union after over 25 years of hard work in construction. He had a good heart, loved his family, and enjoyed country living, hiking, and camping. He spent time playing guitar, reading, listening to Cardinals baseball games, and watching back-to-back episodes of Star Trek. He loved Mexican food, classic rock and country music, and John Wayne movies. He loved dogs, especially his faithful canine companion Pal who misses the “Big Dog.”
David is survived by his wife of nearly 23 years, Mary Adair of Warrenton; his mother, Helen Adair of St. Charles; one sister, Nancy Haussmann of Earlysville, Virginia; two brothers, Dennis Adair of Wright City and Scott Adair of St. Charles; one son, Adam; and one daughter, AmyKaye, as well as their families and numerous cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, one uncle, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Myerle Adair.
