Obituary
David Lee Howland Sr. passed away on July 7, 2017 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of Bonita Howland nee Johnson of Foley, Missouri; He is survived by his two sons, David (Theresa) Howland Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, William Howland of Foley, MO; two daughters, Kathy (Eddy) Salinas of TX, Rebecca (Michael) Gentrup of Shackopee, MN; three brothers, Robert (Iris) Howland of North Branch, MI, Chris (Sherri) Howland of North Branch, MI, Pat Howland of North Branch, MI; sister, Bonita Ramirez of Lapeer, MI; three granddaughters, Ashley Howland, Loren Howland, Sarah Gentrup; two grandsons, Steven Gentrup, Collin Gentrup; He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Howland, mother, Gladys Murray, brother, Mike Howland. David was united in marriage to his lovely wife Bonita on July 2, 1970 in Lovington, New Mexico. He was a retired Master Sergeant for the United States Air Force. In his time serving his country, he served two tours in Vietnam as well as receiving the Airman of the Year Award, three Commendation Medals and the Meritorious Service Medal. He was a Mastered Integrated Avionics Instructor as well. David went on to his career as an F-15 representative in Integrated Avionics Specialty for 27 years at Boeing. He was a member of the American Legion in Elsberry, MO. David enjoyed woodworking especially making furniture. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
