David Wayne Hedtke passed away at his home in Salol on August 29, 2006 at the age of 58.
David was born on November 24, 1947 in Baudette, MN to Kathryn (Belanger) and William Hedtke. He grew up and went to school in Baudette and later started working in his fathers machine shop. He spent his working career as a truck driver. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on old trucks and cars. He and Kathryn (Burke) were married on December 21, 1995.
He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his willingness to help other people.
He is survived by his three brothers, Robert (Terry) Hedtke of Puposky, MN, Donny (Tammie) Hedtke of Ottowa, KS and Allen (Cyndi) Hedtke of Pine City, MN; sister, Monica (Gerry) Buegler of Baudette; 6 step-children, Crystal Stangeland, Quinton, Leo, Howard, Zach and Allison Osborn; and 5 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kathryn in 2004.
