Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Carol Nichols; son, Joshua Nichols; brothers, Scott Nichols, and James (Cindy) Nichols; sister, Laura (Bryan) Thompson; step sons, Joseph Keiser and Alfred Fischer; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
