David A. Ditsworth, age 64, of Pascagoula passed away peacefully on Christmas Day morning, Dec. 25, 2021 in Pascagoula. He was born April 26, 1957 in Pascagoula and has been a life long resident. David graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1975 and attended Mississippi State College where he enjoyed playing football during high school and college.
David was employed by Chevron for over 30 years as an Oil & Gas Operator, Consultant, and Supervisor. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pascagoula. He enjoyed motorcycles and enjoyed watching all sports. Most of all, he loved his family and the quality time spent with each one of them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and called him friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne John Ditsworth, Sr and Analaura Collins Bowman; 7 siblings, Beulah Ditsworth Evans, Hazel Ditworth Gilstrap, Wayne Ditsworth, Jr., Nan Ditsworth Roberts, Mary Alice Ditsworth, Robbie Maxwell, Janice Maxwell Shepherd, and son-in-law Greg Davidson.
David is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Anna Eubanks Ditsworth; two daughters and two sons, Pamela Davidson, Heather Lea Brannon, David Wayne Ditsworth, Matthew Jon Ditsworth; four siblings, Grady Ditsworth (Nancy), Annette Hudson, Richard Maxwell (Guy), and Sherry Maxwell McVeay; 7 grandchildren, Jon Paul Davidson, Tyler Davidson, Matthew Jon Ditsworth, II, Mason Russell, Chandler Ditsworth, Penelope Ditsworth, and Sebastian Ditsworth; his beloved fur child, Harley, other relatives, and great friends and co-workers.
