David retired from Fisher Body after 36 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and golf. Preceding him in death were a nephew, Greg Manshum; brother-in-law, Rich Korcal; sister-in-law, Joyce Manshum. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Carol; children, David (Debbie) Manshum, Brian (Debbie) Manshum, Christopher (special friend Robin Hills) Manshum and Eric (special friend Amy Owens), all of Portland; 2 step grandchildren, Christopher and Kaila Groetsma; siblings, Everil (Dixie) Manshum, Charlotte Korcal, Peggy (Bob) Peacock, Mary Manshum, Evart “Dutch” (Judy) Manshum, Roger (Dee) Manshum, Richard Manshum, Roberta (J.R.) Goorhouse, Julius “Dewey” (Marie) Manshum, and Al (Debbie) Manshum; brother-in-law, James (Mary Ellen) DeBoer; many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
