Darrell Hendrickson, 77, of Eveleth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. He was born on December 05, 1936 in Eveleth to Uno and Verna (Wilimaa) Hendrickson; grew up in Central Lakes and graduated from Cotton High School in 1956. He worked for over 40 years for J & L and LTV Mining Companies, was the co-owner of B & D Standard Oil Station in Eveleth and was also a member of the National Guard.
Throughout his life he enjoyed a variety of activities including boating, camping, and motorcycle trips, but his family and friends were always most important.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jane (Brandenburg); Children: Craig (Cheryl) Hendrickson, Kim (Rick) Wuori and Karl (Niki) Hendrickson; 12 Grandchildren , 11 Great Grandchildren; sister Susan (Roger) Hage, brother Jerry (Gloria) Hendrickson and numerous nephews and nieces.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terrance Hendrickson and sister Donna Kamunen.
