Darrel Eugene Aasen passed away on July 30, 2005 at the Lakewood Hospital in Staples, Minnesota.
Darrell was born on November 1, 1939 in Skime, Minnesota (Reine Township of Roseau County) to Ida (Lundquist) and Edwin Aasen. Darrell left the Skime area in the early 1950’s, and was presently living in Pillager, MN. He worked at a state run workplace, close to where he lived.
He is survived by his uncle, Albert (Hazel) Aasen of International Falls, MN; aunts, Anna Palm of St. Paul and Ruth Arneson of Washington; Joyce Aasen of Roseau and Helen Aasen of Skime; and several cousins near Skime, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Roseau and International Falls, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jewell, Oscar, Carl and Bennie; sisters, Cora, Bertha, Ella, and Jennie.
