Darlyne Eleanor Hanson, the daughter of June (Strait) and John Laffin, was born on December 6, 1933 in Williams, MN. She grew and went to school in Williams. She was married for many years to DuWayne Hanson. She lived in Goodland, MN where she stayed at home to raise her children.
In 1971, she was disabled as the result of a car accident. Since then, she has lived in Thief River Falls, MN for many years until a month ago when she moved to Warroad, MN to live with her sister. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, reading and gardening.
Darlyne passed away on February 13, 2007 in Warroad, MN at the age of 73.
She is survived by her three children, Lynda Guddeck, Greg Hanson and Brynda Brown; sister, Arletta Thompson of Warroad; and brother, Jack Laffin of Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, June and John.
