Dale E. Fields of Steelville, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Gibbs Care Center at the age of 92 years. She was born October 2, 1919 in Bernie, MO to Noland G. Williams and Elsie Mae Tanner Williams. On May 18, 1943, she was united in marriage to William Orville Fields who preceded her in death in 1993.
Dale was a member of the Steelville Presbyterian Church. She sang in the choir and was very involved in her church.
She is survived by one daughter Diane Kidd and husband Dale of Linden, TX; one sister “Tootsie” Stricklin of Steelville, MO; son-in-law Jim Wallis and wife Fern of Steelville, MO; nine grandchildren Danny Wallis and wife Pam, Becky Garrison, Jennifer Bouse and husband Brad, Sara Asher and husband Adam, Eric Wallis and wife Michelle, Andria Porch and husband Lee, Michael Kidd and wife Laurie, Jeff Perkins and wife Julie and Jackie Blanford and husband Gary; twenty-eight great-grandchildren Kaley and Andrew Wallis, Zack Garrison and wife Jackie, Shelby Garrison, Madison, Cole and Maggie Bouse, Peggy, Samuel and Natalie Halbert, Caleb Parry, Trever, Avery, Carter and Cameron Wallis, Madison and Jorden Kidd, Maria Rolland and husband Christopher, Anna, Isaac and Elijah Porch, Damen and Kiaira Asher, Marlena Helms and husband Kyle, Justin Perkins and wife Libby, Melanie Perkins, Phillip and Kelsey Blanford; six great, great grandchildren Alex Helms, Mason Blanford, Lexie, Jordan and William Garrison and Ella Macomber; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Fields; one daughter Lois Peggy Wallis; two brothers Bloyce Williams and Delmar Williams; and one grandson-in-law Sam Halbert.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
