Daisy Ed Wiggins Sparkman, 84, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on July 31, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 23, 1937, in Pascagoula to the late William Edward and Daisy (Delmas) Wiggins.
Daisy Ed is survived by her husband of 64 years, William Taylor (W.T.) Sparkman III. Her children Mary Beth Sparkman of Pascagoula, Julie Rogers of Fairhope, AL, Paige Ditsworth (Dale) of Pascagoula and William Taylor (Bill) Sparkman IV (Becky) of Gautier, MS. She leaves to cherish wonderful memories of their Dee to her grandchildren, Erin Yarger (Andrew), Adam Sparkman, Jordan Shotts (Stan), Jacob Rogers, Sara Ditsworth, Amy Ditsworth, Haleigh Sparkman, Lakyn Sparkman and her great grandchildren Jon Taylor, Mary Paige, Cecilia and Joseph Yarger, John Curtis Shotts, Sadie and Ryleigh Sparkman. She is also survived by her sister, Renie Enger of Mobile, AL, sister in laws Florence Thompson, Carolyn Hammock and brother-in-law Arlis Gray. She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, Mary Sparkman, her brother Julius Wiggins, her sister Mary Katherine Teague, her grandson, Drew Gilbert, her brother in laws Dr. Daniel Enger, Mitchell Thompson, Bill Hammock, sister in laws Trudy Wiggins and Elma Ruth Gray.
Daisy Ed lived her whole life in Pascagoula. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula for her entire life and is where she married W.T. on May 11, 1957. She graduated in 1955 from Our Lady of Victories Catholic School. She attended Webster College in St. Louis, MO.
