D. Lloyd Bayliss, Jr. of Denton, MD passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at his home. He was 69 years old.
Born in Cambridge, MD on May 10, 1948, Lloyd was the son of the late Delsworth Lloyd Bayliss, Sr. and Agnes Crisel (Bayliss) Cecil. He is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Eugene Cecil. Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had been a dairy farmer most of his life, but he also was an excellent painter. Lloyd loved the outdoors and sunshine, from his early years of crabbing/fishing to the latter years of cutting grass and hanging at the pool. He was truly a jack of all trades.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Brenda Lee Bayliss of Denton; a daughter, Laura Bayliss Swann (Randy) of Cordova, MD; a son, Robert Lloyd Bayliss (Diane) of Trappe, MD; two brothers, Danny Bayliss (Sandy) and Jack Bayliss, both of Federalsburg, MD; a brother-in-law, Charlie Taylor of Church Hill, MD; three grandchildren: Nicki, Josh (Courtney), and Tyler (Jessica); four great granddaughters: Paisley, Taya, Laney, and Jozi along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and stepfather, he was preceded in death by his sister, Clara Bayliss Taylor.
