Clyde L. Motter of Ridgely, MD died Monday, August 21, 2017, at the Memorial Hospital in Easton, MD. He was 84 years old.
Born in Felton, DE on December 27, 1932, Mr. Motter was the son of the late Clark M. Motter and Mildred Dill Motter.
Mr. Motter had been a farmer most of his life. He also was a truck driver for Lynch Oil (now Algier) Oil Co. in Centreville for many years. He loved baseball, fishing, and woodworking. He was inseparable from his wife, Barbara Jean Motter of Ridgely whom he married June 17, 1960.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Motter is survived by two sons: Kenneth J. Motter (Colleen) of Denton and Kevin G. Motter (Faith) of Ridgely; and a sister, Kathleen Steenken of Harmony, MD and one grandson Gradon Motter. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Motter and Donald Motter; one sister, Helen Deacon; and two granddaughters: Abigail Marie Motter, and Gabrielle Lynn Motter..
