Clay Allen Reed, 82, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri
Mr. Reed was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 18, 1927, the son of the late Clay and Violet (O’Guin) Johnson.
He was the widower of Vita (Randazzo) Reed. They were married August 28, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri.
He is survived by a daughter Connie Ouellette and husband Richard of Poway, California, daughter Chris Hasty and husband Eddie of New Haven, brother Clyde Reed and wife Pat of Hermann, sisters Betty Keely and husband Bob of Visalia, California, Hope Yurchuck and husband Jay of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Doris Crites of Park Hills, Missouri, a granddaughter Whitney Parks of Springfield and grandson Derek Ouelette of Poway, California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son Allen Reed, his step mother May Reed, his step father Anthony Johnson, a brother Andy Reed and a sister Delores Barnett.
He worked at Statical Tabulation Corp Co. in St. Louis. He also owned St. Clair Gas Station in New Haven, owned and operated Mr. R’s Restaurant and Bar in Hermann and Chet’s Restaurant in Osage Beach and was a manager for American Mini Storage in Esconido, California.
