Claude Ray Arthur passed away on March 4, 2019 at the age of 78. He is survived by his beloved wife Wanda Arthur nee Stogsdill of Columbia, MO; his two daughters, Claudette (Roger Owenby) Arthur of Warrenton, MO, Peggy (Jeffry) Denning of DeSoto, MO; brother, John Arthur; sister, Marjorie Green; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, James O. Arthur, mother, Emma A. Arthur, 2 brothers Jim and Ted Arthur; sister, Dortha Harris. Claude and Wanda were married on March 19, 1960 and were married 58 years. Claude enjoyed buying, selling and trading items, and also enjoyed going to any yard sales with a 50 mile radius of his house. He enjoyed talking and being around family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
