Mrs. Scrivner was devoted to God and to her family. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. Clarine had a passionate relationship with God and believed in answered prayer even to the end of her life. Mrs. Scrivner instilled her Christian values in her four children. Clarine had a strong work ethic and was a hard worker. Her career consisted of being a seamstress in a Jackson manufacturing company for many years. She completed her career as a daycare worker.
Clarine enjoyed cooking for her family and was a fantastic cook. She would arise early on Sunday mornings to prepare delicious meals for her family to enjoy after church each week. Clarine’s homemade fried apple pies and chicken and dumplings will most definitely be missed.
