Clarence Raymond Broccard of St. James passed away Tuesday February 2, 2010, at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center. He was 95 years of age.

Clarence Broccard was born on November 22, 1914 in St. James, Missouri to his parents: Jean Julien and Jeanne’ Ludavine (Moret) Broccard. He was united in marriage to Wanda Maxine Nelson.

Clarence Broccard did road construction as foreman of Porter Dwit Road Construction. He was a member of the Operators Union and was the longest living member. Clarence loved to do gardening, yard work, reading the Bible, and was a vivid Cardinals Fan. He was a member of the Christian Church. Clarence was a very gentle, kind and loving person. He will be miss by all who knew and loved him.

Clarence Broccard is survived by his grandchildren: Rhonda Broccard and Scott Broccard and wife Lisa and Great-Grandson: Justin all of St. James, along with Niece Clarine Belshe and Nephews: Raymond and Nathan Broccard and a host of other family and friends.

Clarence Broccard is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda Maxine, who entered into rest on April 20, 2004, one son: Ronald Edward Broccard who passed away on September 1, 2002 and Daughter-In-Law: Gloria Broccard who passed away February 15, 2008. Along with 6 brothers: Charlie, Emile, Ceaser, Albert, Gus and Maurice and 5 sisters: Hazel Broccard, Marceline Beckmeier, Mary Branson, Jennie Boyer and Amelia Robinson.
