Christopher “Chris” Scott Domeyer of Salem, Missouri passed away unexpectably Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the age of 56 years. Chris was born May 8, 1959 in Rock Island, Illinois to Richard Elwood Domeyer and Janice Guldenzop Domeyer. On December 23, 1995 in Berger, Missouri he was united in marriage to Carol Crecelius who survives of the home.
Chris attended the Jehovah’s Witness Hall. He worked as a aircraft mechanic in Honduras for five years and as a heavy equipment mechanic in South America and Hertz Corporation. He also was employed at Industrial Lift Truck in St. Louis and Wal-Mart as a truck mechanic.
Even in his spare time, he enjoyed repairing heavy equipment and aircraft.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of twenty years, Carol Domeyer of Salem, MO; one brother, Fred Domeyer of Houston, TX; two sisters, Jeannie Gustafson and husband Kurt of West Bend, WI and Mary Lynn “Marnie” Palmerin of Perris, CA; step-mother, Opal Bennett Domeyer of Salem, MO; two stepbrothers, Bill Bennett and wife Liz of Steelville, MO and Gary Bennett and wife Beth of Battlefield, MO; one step-sister, Joyce Bennett Jones of Salem, MO; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
