Christopher “Chris” Albert Pettey, age 60, of Pascagoula passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1961 in Pascagoula and graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1979. Chris was a Chief Engineer for over 25 years at Merchant & Marines offshore. Chris loved fishing and sharing the fish with others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Amos Pettey and Yvonne Edith Kendrick Pettey; two nephews, Jason Pettey and Timothy McDuffee
Chris is survived by two brothers and one sister, Gary Pettey (Linda), Harry Pettey, and Teresa Pettey McDuffee (Michael); three nieces and two nephews, Melissa Pettey, Mark Pettey, Misty Mears, Joey Pettey and Jacob McDuffee; two best friends that truly went above and beyond for Chris, Wayne Trehern and Rick Brownlee.
