Charles E. Wood, 65, of Steelville, passed away Monday June 18, 2007 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. He was born, Monday September 8, 1941 in Reves, Missouri, the son of William Luther and Emily Virginia (Brasher) Wood.
Charles is survived by three sons, Charles Wood II and wife Anne of Eureka, Missouri, Robert Wood and wife Lisa of St. Louis, Missouri and Timothy Wood of Bowling Green, Missouri; three sisters, Nina Moses and husband Auzzie of Steelville, Missouri, Frances Trimble and husband Dennis of Villa Ridge, Missouri and Glenda LaPlant and husband Jim of Marquand, Missouri; five grandchildren, William, Zachary, and Luc Wood and Danielle and Lauren Woody.
Charles worked as a welder and was a member of the Boiler Maker’s Union in St. Louis. He was also a member of the Steelville Country Club. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
