Charles Dellian Setzer, 72, of Cuba, MO passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Cuba Manor. He was born August 8, 1935 to Ray and Freida Marie (Stotler) Setzer in St. Louis, MO.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Kim Maiden and husband Sam of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Ray Setzer and wife Melba of Portland, OR; two sisters, Doris Andrews and Alvina Penning both of Cuba, MO; three special step-children, Donnie Dew, Mary Jo Dycus and Mark Dew; one grandson, Justin Kell of St. Louis, MO; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother’s in-law, Marvin Andrews and Bud Penning, and one step-son Woody Dew.
Charles was a member of the VFW of Cuba. He loved to play Bingo and pinochle. Charles served in the U.S. Marines and U.S. Air Force. He loved to talk about skydiving that he did in his spare time while in the Air Force.
A special thanks to the staff of the Cuba Manor who became a part of Charles’ family.
