Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Townsend passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn Townsend nee Stroman of O Fallon, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Michael Townsend of Fresno, CA; daughter, Michelle (Jeffrey) Hensel of Wentzville, MO; three grandsons, Wyatt Hensel, Evan Hensel, Sawyer Hensel; two granddaughters, Gareth Townsend, Sarah Townsend; He is preceded in death by his father, James Townsend, mother, Tressie Williams Townsend, brother, Kenny Townsend, brother, Robert Townsend, sister, Doris Grubner, sister, Katherine Jones. Charlie was a member of U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
