Cecelia E. Parnell was born on April 28, 1930 in Laona Township to Albert and Annabelle (Allard) Firkus. She attended school in Warroad, MN and lived in Oregon and Washington before returning to Minnesota. She spent the last 24 years in Williams and Warroad.
Cecelia enjoyed many things in life including, being outdoors, fishing, camping, sewing, crossword puzzles, crafts and puzzles.
Cecelia passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 in Grand Forks, ND at the age of 86.
Her family includes, son, Rex Harkness; grandson, Rex Harkness Jr.; siblings, Irene Potter, Alexander Firkus, Patricia Fish, Alberta Murphy.
