Catherine “Cathy” Mock, 53 of Warren, MN passed away on April, 10, 2011 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Catherine Rowena Mock was born April 20, 1957 in Wilkes Barre, PA to Ralph and Beverly (Bodell) Mock. She was raised in Barto, PA until her father died in 1967 and she moved with her family to Warren, MN. Cathy attended and graduated from Warren High School. Cathy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 32 years. Her employment included the Warren Good Samaritan Center and Karlstad Health Care Center.
Cathy’s family and friends were her life. She enjoyed helping people out and caring for people and helping them in anyway she could.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Angie (Marty) Mager of Warren, MN, Kaitlin (Danny Maurstad) Mock of Red Lake Falls, MN; special nephew, Jon Mock; grandchildren, Becca and Alexis Mager; brothers, Charlie (Kaye) Mock of Warren, and Steve (Kim) Mock of Warren; sister, Judy Mock of Grand Forks, ND; nieces and nephews; grand nieces and grand nephews; and special friend, Carolyn Stechmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Becky Kasprowicz; and uncles and aunts.
