Catherine G. Griffith of Denton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the DE Hospice in Milford, DE. She was 75 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Griffith was the daughter of the late Hampton Roland Brady, Sr. and Catherine Ida Raynor Brady. She managed several different stores and businesses in the Glen Burnie area for many years. She has lived on the Eastern Shore for twenty years.
Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, William L. Griffith, Sr. of Denton; two sons: John H. Gavrilenkowsky (Darlene) of Bridgeville, DE and Steven V. Gavrilenkowsky of Greenwood, DE; three sisters: Carol Bell of Chester, Pixie Sappington of Queen Anne, and Judith Gavrilenkowsky of Harrington, DE; two brothers: H. Roland Brady, Jr. of Saxis, VA and Joel W. Brady, Sr. of Ridgely; two granddaughters: Nichole and Jessica, five great grandchildren, eight step children, and several step grandchildren; and her special family friend, Alan Gardner. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Alan Gavrilenkowsky.
