Age 58, loving wife mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012. She was born on December 26, 1953 in Norfolk, VA (but considered Charleston, SC home) the daughter of Ray and Lorraine (Masters) Whitehurst. Carolyn was a graduate of James Island High School. She was an amazing minister of the Gospel, always keeping Jesus first in her life. Carolyn loved people no matter who they were, and lived for others, never herself. Preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Steve Wyman; children, Steven Christopher (Rachel Ann) Wyman, Raychel Elizabeth (Ryan Michael) Smith, Susan Rebekah Banks, and Jonathan Whitehurst (Jessica Lou) Wyman; grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Caelyn, Rylie, Merayah, Addyson, Nolan, and Natalie; sisters, Sandra Butler, Joyce Cross, and Janice Camp.
