Carolyn Jane Taylor, age 74, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:44 PM Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital
Carolyn was born on April 5, 1945, in Barry, Illinois the daughter of Edwin “Bud” and Lucille (White) Doran.
Carolyn was united in marriage to Paul Taylor on December 12, 1991, in Shelbina, MO. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2008.
Survivors include her children Gregory Clark of Hannibal, MO and Penny Robinson of Hannibal, MO; grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Christopher Humphrey, Nikkia Humphrey, Daren Clark, and A.J. Smith; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by a brother, Ernie Lambert and five sisters, Frances Fessenden, Sharon Shockley, Viola Ross, Cleo Campfield, and Wilma Lambert.
Professionally Carolyn worked as a CNA at Levering Home before retirement.
In her free time Carolyn enjoyed working her vendor booth at Colony Flea Market in Colony, MO. She also enjoyed traveling around to area flea markets and thrift stores looking for the best bargains. Carolyn was a sociable lady and never met a stranger. Her biggest love was her family. She cherished the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carolyn was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church, where she was an active in the women’s group.
