Carolyn Faith Fulliam of Steelville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Washington, Missouri at the age of 76 years and 12 days. She was born September 15, 1940 in Solo, Missouri to Cleaton Carey and Helen Garrison Carey. While a young child, Carolyn’s father, died during WWII in 1945. After his death, her mother married Harry Gray who then helped raise her. On September 20, 1958 in Steelville at the Northside Full Gospel Mission Church, she was united in marriage to Paul Fulliam and to this union two sons and four daughters were born.
Carolyn was a faithful member of the Rivers of Life Fellowship Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Scrabble. Most of all she loved being with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of fifty-eight years, Paul Fulliam of Steelville, MO; two sons, Matthew Fulliam of Gerald, MO and Faron Fulliam and wife Dani of Cuba, MO; four daughters, Loretta Shoemake and husband Jacob and Pauline LeBlanc and husband Dave all of Steelville, MO, Velita Padgett and husband Jim of St. Clair, MO and Cleta Hudson and husband Jim or Republic, MO; one brother Dewey Gray and wife Cheri of California, MO; two sisters, Lorine Troutwin and husband Jimmy of West Plains, MO and Harriet Rector and husband James of Shawnee, OK; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, George Carey and wife Ina.
The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Jim Padgett, David Hurst, Trevor Hurst, Garth Hurst, Jack Scott, Isiah Brewer, Michal Bennett and Dan Sanders.
