Obituary
Carolyn Edna Kemner nee Diederich passed away on October 31, 2018 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Kemner; She is survived by her three daughters, Marla (Robert) Lamping of Wentzville, MO, Jeanne (John) Abbett of Augusta, MO, Gail (Thomas) Kappelmann of Willow Springs, MO; grandchildren, Heather (Ric) Reese, Heidi (Michael) Darrow, Tomi (Brad) Coomer, Jessi Abbett, Zachary Lamping, Jedediah Lamping; great-grandchildren, Eli, Gracie and Suny; numerous relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Diederich, mother, Dora Diederich, husband, Robert Kemner, sister, Alma Kamphoefner, sister, Louise Kemner, sister, Marybelle Diederich. Carolyn was a member of the Ladies Aid at Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta, Missouri and she also belonged to the Augusta Bridge Club. Carolyn loved people and was a social butterfly. A favorite thing was to sit on her front porch with family and friends and have a few Natty Lights. She helped begin the Mount Pleasant Winery in August of 1969 also working for the Montelle Winery located in Augusta, Missouri. Carolyn loved traveling, playing cards and fishing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
