Gray-Carole Ann (Willette) Cobb, known to her friends as Kayo, passed on June 15, 2013 after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
Carole was born on May 10, 1937 to Thomas and Ruby (Rogers) Willette. She married Hubert Cobb on November 24, 1956. They travelled to-Ohio for Hubert’s job and remained there for three years, their first two children being born there.
Kayo was active as a Girl Scout leader and den mother while her children were growing up. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary #86 and served as president while Hubert was Commander of the Legion in 1972-1973. She spent years baking her delicious pies and working on the bean suppers there She also baked for the Congregational Church suppers for many years
Kayo was an avid reader, especially historical novels, and loved to knit and crochet. Her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends were blessed with her crocheted afghans, and knitted socks and mittens.

Besides her parents, Carole was predeceased by her sisters, Lois and Diane and her favorite grandson, Douglas James Cobb. She is survived by her husband, Hubert and her four children: Helen and husband Michael Morrell of Windham, Hubert, Jr. and wife Susan of Rangeley, Steve and wife Sandra of Gray, David and wife Dana of Poland. Her brother Thomas Willette of Enfield, N.H. survives her as well. She leaves behind her favorite grandson Michael A. Morrell, Jr., five favorite granddaughters-Lynn Marie Bryant, Sara Edith Morrell, Emily Ann Cobb, Abigail Marie Cobb, Sadie Annabel Cobb and three great grandchildren-Molly Mae Bryant, Wesley John Bryant and Cassidy Ann Morrell
