Mrs. Heintz is survived by her husband, Gary Heintz of Wentzville, MO, son, Brent Heintz of O’Fallon, MO, daughter, Debra Furtado of Wentzville, MO, brother, Bill Books of Fresno, CA, brother, Ted Books of Fresno, CA, brother, Fred Books of Fresno, CA, brother, Mike Books of Fairfield, CA. She was the loving grandmother of grandsons, Travis and Justin Heintz. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Books, mother, Georgia Books. Prior to the onset of Alzheimer’s and Parkinsons diseases in 2004, Carol was active in the family business as well as doing volunteer work. She enjoyed traveling and was an animal lover.
