Carol Jeanne Kallmeyer, 81, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, December 9th, at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.
Carol was born in Hermann, Missouri on May 24, 1936, a daughter of the late and John A.C. and Minnie (Harms) Rohlfing.
She was the wife of Joy D. Kallmeyer. They were married on October 15,1955 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, MO.
Carol is survived by her husband Joy, a daughter Jeanne Gosen and husband Don of Wildwood, by three granddaughters, Laura and husband Captain Jeremy Lewis, Pinehurst N.C.; Anna Gosen and Fiance’ Jake Leath, St. Louis and Rachel Gosen , Wildwood. She is also survived by a great grandson Hunter Lewis, a sister Lorene Beckman, of Hermann, a son-in-law Raymond Heller Jr., Montgomery City and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Michelle “Mickey” Heller and a sister Eunice Puchta.
She was employed as a bookkeeper by Ritepoint, Kallmeyer Brothers, and Kallmeyer-Schroff auctions.
Carol enjoyed her family, giving back to her church, and volunteering. She enjoyed traveling, but always loved to come home because of the the community and its surroundings.
