Obituary
Carol A. Hickey passed away on October 1, 2018 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of David Hickey of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth (Dave) Billingsley of Parker, CO; two sons, Joseph (Caroline) Hickey of Salt Lake City, UT, Patrick (LeAnn) Hickey of Wentzville, MO; five granddaughters, Kati Beth (Mason) Lewis, Kerri Anne (Sean) Maloney, Danielle Hickey, Sophia Hickey, Darci Hickey; three grandsons, Timothy Billingsley, David Joseph Hickey, Jacob Hickey; Great-grandchildren, Avery Kate, Truett and Blaire; Numerous, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family; She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence H. Smith, mother, Agnes Smith, brother, Larry Smith. Carol taught for over 30 years at Wentzville and Pattonville School District; she was an extremely talented Art teacher. She was a beloved Wife, Mom, Grams and GiGi. Carol was a gem collector and enthusiast. She also enjoyed book clubs and was an avid Mah Jongg player. Carol was a long time member at ICD where she was active in RCIA and Advent by Candlelight. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
