He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Mary Ann Spitzley, Elizabeth May, Ruth Spitzley, and Katherine May; 3 brothers, Harold, William, and Robert May. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Germaine (Schafer); children, Janet (Chris) Pung of Flushing, Carolyn (Bardell) Adams of Portland, and Duane (Miho) May of Gregory; 8 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alaina, and Jacob Pung, Brycen, Brayden, Brooke, and Bryna Adams, and Kiana May; 3 sisters, Dorothy Barker of Lansing, Laurine (Robert) Spitzley of Mulliken, and Sister Joan May, SSJ of Grand Blanc; 2 brothers, Fred (Germaine) May and Leon (Geraldine) May, all of Portland; sister-in-law, Marie May of LaVerne, CA; brother-in-law, Donald Spitzley of Pewamo; several nieces and nephews.
