Bruce attended Portland High School and was a member of the football team. He was rookie of the year for Backwoods BMX. After graduation, Bruce was looking forward to joining the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Knapp, great grandfather, John Cooper and his cousin Mathew Knapp. Surviving are his parents; siblings, Angel Hall, Totteeonna and Tucker Cottrell; grandmothers, Linda Knapp and Rosemary Powers; grandfather, Dale Hall; great grandmother, Mildred Cooper; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Amber Hammond.
