Age 49, wonderful husband, father, uncle and friend to all, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009. He was born on January 3, 1960 in Ionia the son of George And Janet (Emelander) Colwell. Brian was an avid University of Michigan fan, loved deer hunting, and enjoyed golf and all sports. He was a wonderful father, who touched many lives especially children. Brian worked for 32 years at Berger Motor Sales as the Service Manager. He was preceded in death by his father, George and a nephew, Corey Ellsworth. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Carol; children Cody, Brianne, and Cole; mother Janet Colwell; siblings David (Amelia) Colwell and Linda (Jim) Bennett; mother and father-in-law, Arvilla and Carl Jones; several sister and brother-in-laws; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
