Age 17, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010. He was born on May 18, 1993 in Lansing the son of David and Sandra (Clark) VanderBroek. Brandon loved the outdoors, deer hunting, shooting sports and was member of 4-H. He would have been a senior at Portland High School this fall and was a member of the National Honor Society and very attentive to his studies. Brandon was a member of the soccer, bowling and track teams at Portland High School. He loved his job at Meijers in Grand Ledge where he made many lasting friendships. For those that knew him, he loved his truck. Surviving are his parents David and Sandra VanderBroek; sister Brittany VanderBroek; grandparents Raymond and Gladys Clark, Ken (Kathy) VanderBroek and Doris VanderBroek; aunts Susan (Ron) Alexander, Carol (Al) Scholten, Sue (John) Smith, Marilyn Redeker, Ruth (Jack) Powell; uncles Steve (Sharon) VanderBroek and Tim VanderBroek; special friends Casey Steele, Gary Baert and family, Devin Fulkerson and family, Travis Thomas, the Portland Soccer Team, Stephanie Lipps, and Becca Hooker.
