Bonnie Elaine Foster, 82, passed away at her Damascus, Maryland home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, with her family by her side.

Born June 16, 1940, in Purdum, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Glenwood and Virginia King.

She graduated from Damascus High School in 1958 and soon married the late Delmas R. Foster, her husband for 57 years.

While her daughters were in school, Bonnie was a devoted mother and housewife.  She volunteered in the cafeteria at Woodfield Elementary School and was a co-leader of a local Girl Scout troop.  Bonnie taught Sunday School and Bible School at Bethesda United Methodist Church for many years.

After the girls graduated from high school, she went to work for Blatchley Nationwide Insurance agency where she worked as an office manager and agent for over 20 years.

She and Delmas spent a lot of time at their house on the bay in Rock Hall, Maryland enjoying the sun and relaxing with family and close friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny Foster of Damascus and Tammy Israel and her husband James of Victoria, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Janelle Averill, Daniel Foster and his wife Caroline, Brooke, Taylor and Megan Israel, and Nicole Padgett and her husband Chris as well as four great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Judy Knoll, her husband Tom and their family.
