Bogdan Anatolievich Davidenko
May 13, 1985
February 9, 2014
Bogdan Anatolievich Davidenko was born to Anatoly & Svetlana Davidenko on May 13 1985 in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, where he spent his earliest childhood years. Being the youngest of three brothers, Vasily, Anatoly & Dmitry and a sister Aksana, he was the star of the family. He started his journey to the USA in the fall of 1989 stopping in Vienna, Austria, and Tivoli, Italy for a few months where he thoroughly enjoyed running all over the rugged Italian countryside. Bogdan finally arrived in the US in March of 1990 with his family where he promptly proceeded soaking-up English. His sister Natasha was born later that year, which gave him the opportunity to become a lil’ big brother.
Bogdan was one of the nicest kids on the playground, though his brothers and sister disagreed some–clearly there were no fights over the same toys! While in school, he was a good student, something that stayed true throughout his life. No one goes through school unscathed and Bogdan was picked on by his share of peers. He dealt with them in his own way by being a better kid and working out.
After High School he attended college in both Maine and Florida with the goal of obtaining a pre-med degree and was on the road to become a doctor like his father. Along the way he met Tina, a girl with whom he fell in love and spent as much time as humanly possible, while not forgetting his family and friends. Tina and Bogdan planned to get married after Bogdan proposed to Tina on Christmas 2013, to no one’s surprise.
Bogdan had a passion like none other for music, fast cars, watches, shoes, sunglasses, and New England Sports teams. If there was game on you can bet he was watching it, and if you were nearby you’d have no doubt about which team was winning. He made every game worth watching, even if the New England team was losing. Bogdan could tell you any sports stat that you needed to know. Those who met him instantly fell in love with him because of his friendliness, enthusiasm, compassion, generosity, optimistic outlook, and sense of humor. Who hasn’t heard his re-enactment of Borat lines and didn’t start cracking up?
Bogdan created friendships that lasted a life time and lived every day better and more fully than most. He always savored life and those who made life brilliant. He leaves behind his grieving family and friends including a fiancée, parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 3 sisters-in-law, 2 nephews, one niece and many friends who are still in shock that Bogdan passed away on Sunday February 9, 2014.
Bogdan, we hope that you are well and happy, wherever you are, smiling and laughing with us.
