Billy Carl Deeter of Jonesburg, MO passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Billy was born September 25, 1939 in Paris, TN to the late Everett and Catherine Deeter nee Reynolds.
Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening, especially tomatoes he grew the best. Billy was the official taste tester and always said “It’s good, but it would be better if…”, he enjoyed his horses and training them to do tricks. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Billy is survived by loving daughter, Heidi (Dustin) Rives, grandson, Hunter Rives; sister, Lessie Johnson; two acting daughters, Shalon Rice Curd, Becky “Bossy Becky” (Glenn) Schoppenhorst; three close friends, Ron Hemmer, Harold Barnes, Kathy Hitchcock and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett E Deeter, mother, Catherine Reynolds, 3 brothers, James Deeter, Donald Deeter, and Franklin Deeter, sister, Roberta (Olan) Hall, brother-in-law, Monroe Hoofman.
