GRAY-Beverly Louise (Maxwell) Prince, 84 died peacefully on the farm on October 31st.
Beverly was born February 12th at her parents George and Virgie’s home on Rt 26 in Gray and they became a loving family of 8. Beverly married her high school sweetheart Richard and had one daughter Terry.
After traveling compliments of the U.S. Army for 26 years the three of them moved home to Gray and to take care of Dick’s parents Guy and Kathryn. Being a 65 year member with the Gray American Legion Auxiliary, an officer of the Dept. of Maine Auxiliary, AMVETS, and VFW Auxiliaries, the LaFemmes member and her beloved First Congregational Church of Gray kept Beverly young for most of her life. Being married to Dick for 58 years did too.
Their lifetime Army friends meant so much to them. Beverly’s life in part was dedicated to her family, her girlfriends and to being the busiest volunteer. She was well cared for in their home on Little Sebago Lake by “my girls” after Dick passed and toward the end of her life on the farm by Terry and the best son-in-law ever Gene Tarsetti.
