Bettye Gene Little passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at her home.
Bettye was born on April 2, 1935 in Kemper County to David and Bertha Taylor. She met and married, Henry Floyd Little, this marriage lasted for 67 years, until Bettye drew her last breath. She was a, longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula and served for many years in the VFW Auxillary #3373. When describing her no other word seems appropriate but AMAZING, even at the age of 86 she continued to amaze her family. She set the bar high. On Saturday, she woke like any other day, she worked in the yard, cutting grass etc, (all things she loved and enjoyed doing). After surveying a job done well, she and her soul mate went inside. Within hours another, looked across creation and whispered, well done and gently took her by the hand. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Ray; her brothers, Gene, Ernest, Bobby, Clifford and Morris Taylor.
She is survived by, her husband, Henry Floyd Little of Pascagoula, MS; two children, Deborah Little of Pascagoula, MS and Keith Little and his wife Roxanne of Lucedale; sister, Marie Rigdon of Gulfport, MS; special niece, Shirley Lavinghouse and husband Doug of Pascagoula, and their children that were like her grandchildren, David Lavinghouse (Mary), Mary Williamson (John) and Amanda Guy (Devon) and of course her furry friend, Brody.
