Mrs. Hasson, 82, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her residence due to parkinson’s disease.
Betty Jean was born in Jackson, MS on March 15, 1939. She graduated St. Patrick’s Catholic High School (formerly St. Aloysius) in 1957.
She is survived by her husband Joe Hasson; children, Selina Rene Hasson Price, Kimbery Hasson Brown, James Lowery Hasson, and Matthew Perry Hasson; grandchildren, Christoper Matthew Brown, Dustin Marshall Brown, Mason Clark Mitchell, Dylan Keith Shirley, Chelsea Hope Shirley Heiser, Victoria Lane Hasson, Gina Marie Hasson McCullough, and Tylor Jean Hasson; and sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Walker Harrington.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Lowery Walker and Helen Francis Peller Walker.
