Betty Jean McGinn

Betty J. McGinn, age 77, of Hubbardston passed away on February 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 1, 1939 in New Haven Township the daughter of Earl and Viola (Topper) Husted. Betty was a graduate of the Class of 1957 at Fulton High School. She was a member of the Hubbardston American Legion Women’s Auxiliary for 42 years and a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston. Betty worked at the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons, MI and Oldsmobile for many years. Betty was a wonderful cook, enjoyed playing bingo and she never missed a night of it. She married William “Dugan” Patrick McGinn on July 27, 1957 at the Rectory at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat; and sister, Patricia Shively. She is survived by her daughters, Ronda (Mark Schafer) of Muir and Renee (Lance) Ewalt of Hubbardston; grandchildren, Taylor McGinn, Rechelle (Ronald) Morris, Raelyn Ewalt, Trevor Schafer, and Tuckor Schafer; and several, special nieces and nephews.
