Betty Fay Stewart Maner, 74, a resident of Canton died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Maner was a native of Rankin Co. She was the daughter of Didlo Stewart and Willie Irene Williams Stewart Varner. She is married to William George “Bill” Maner. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World, Eastern Star, and the Moose Lodge. Mrs. Maner was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mrs. Maner is preceded in death by her parents, Didlo Stewart and Willie Irene Williams Stewart Varner, sister, Patricia Williams, grandson, Christopher Dwight Prestage, granddaughter, Amanda Morris and her former husbands, James Prestage and Clemon Howard Jones.
Mrs. Maner is survived by her husband William George “Bill” Maner of Canton; sons, Wallace (Ramona) Prestage of Leesburg and Jeff Prestage of Sandhill; step children, Patricia Maner of St. Petersburg, FL, Tamie Maner of Minneapolis, MN, and Tim (Tatianna) Maner of Phenix, AZ; Brother, Danny (Judy) Stewart of Philadelphia, MS; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
