Bette D. Rose, 92, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away at 8:10 AM on February 17, 2019. Bette Boyer Rose was born August 26, 1926 in LaGrange, Missouri. She was a homemaker, was employed by the Ritenour School District, and for a short time she had her own property business. Bette’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, going to Goodwill and being with friends and family. On February 15, 1947, Bette Boyer married Melvin A. Rose in St. Louis, Missouri. Melvin A. Rose preceded her in death on August 30, 2012. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Barb) Rose of Montgomery City, MO, Dave (Heidi) Rose of St. Charles, MO; two daughters, Mary (Stan) Stamburski of Wright City, MO, Jackie (Tom) Sister of Wentzville, MO, dear nieces and nephews, Peggy, Kathie, Linda, Chris, Mike, and Pat, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; She is preceded in death by her father, Asberry Boyer, mother, Mary Boyer (Hoyes), husband, Melvin A. Rose, brother, Harold Boyer, brother, Joseph Boyer. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
