Bessie Marie Farnsworth, 87, of Owensville, Missouri passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO. She was born September 6, 1924 in Roseville, California to Mary Smith. In 1948, she was united in marriage to Hubert Lee Farnsworth who preceded her in death on June 17, 1997.
She enjoyed working on crafts, especially making macrame’ baby dolls.
She is survived by two sons, James Farnsworth and wife Mary of Gerald, MO and Jack Farnsworth of Park City, UT; one sister Mitz Murphy of Branson, MO; one grandson, Brandon Farnsworth of Texas; and one great-grand-daughter.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband Hubert; a son Jerry Lee Farnsworth; and one sister Louise.
At Bessie’s request, she was cremated.
